What's it like?
As you enter the room, you are greeted by the ambient glow of Himalayan salt bricks, beautifully back lit to create a calm and soothing vibe, creating the back wall to your personal cave. As you take your first steps, the feeling of sand-like salt granules conforms to your feet and transports you to a beach oasis. As you breath in the salty air, your airways clear and you feel your worries and respiratory aliments melt away.
How Does it work?
As you sit in the salt room, negative ions emanate from the wall of salt bricks and the ground filed with granules of Himalayan "pink" salt. Negative ions hold an extra electron and free radicals, damaging particles in the body, take this electron and become less reactive. This helps prevent cellular damage, giving an anti-aging quality to the room. A Halogenerator in the wall takes pharmaceutical grade salt (99.99% Pure Sodium Chloride) pulverizing it into a fine aerosol mist. This is vented into the room and as you breath in, it exerts its antimicrobial effects through your respiratory system by osmosis. The salt aerosol also aids your cilia, the little hairs in your nose and lungs, to move mucus out of the tract to help you breath more freely and rid the microbes from the area.
